Gasfitting

If there is, you can arrange for a gas meter to be installed, or, Turner Tap can do this on your behalf. We will connect from the gas meter to your house, to service all the gas facilities in the home.If you do not have access to natural gas, you can still install gas cookers and water heaters, using bottled LPG. There are strict regulations determining the positioning of gas bottles, e.g. they must be situated outside, and away from windows or vents, so contact us to discuss this before you purchase gas appliances.
All gas installations require a Gas Certificate, which we will supply to you, your gas supplier and the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board.

You will require our gasfitter to install any gas oven or gas hobs in your kitchen, so be sure to contact us before the appliances are delivered to ensure we can install them without delay. Unlimited, instant hot water is the key reason for choosing a gas water heating option. You have two choices:Continuous Flow Water Heaters
- Also known as Instantaneous Water Heaters, available from such leading brands as Rinnai, Rheem and Bosch.
- These systems ignite when hot water is required and deliver it straight to the tap on demand. There is no storage of heated water, so you are only using energy to heat it as you need it.
- Compact units, freeing up space in your home.
- Units can be installed inside or out, giving you choices in the layout of your home, although exterior units are a little cheaper to install.
Storage Water Heaters
- Similar to electric hot water cylinders, these storage systems are best suited to homes that require a lot of hot water delivered simultaneously. For example, in family homes where two or more people may be showering at the same time, along with other taps being used for hot water. Because they store the water and deliver it at mains pressure, there should be ample for the whole household to use.
- A range of sizes is available, as well as inside or outside models.
- Power is not required, so your hot water is not affected in the event of a power cut.
